I recently got to go to Las Vegas which was my first time in almost 10 years. This was my first real time there as I was of age and planned what I did there. These are the top 5 places I went to and would recommend for other first timers to Vegas. I can't wait to go back there again and explore more!
*most of these are phone pictures - I got worried about someone stealing the camera if I brought it
1. Las Vegas Sign
This is a pretty iconic part of Las Vegas. Make sure you go earlier in the morning before the line gets too long. I was there around 10am and the line was about 50 people long, but it was maybe a 15 minute wait and it goes by pretty fast.
2. Bellagio Fountains
I'm not going to lie, but this might be my favorite thing in Vegas. It was just amazing to see the fountains up close. The music was a bonus as I didn't even know that there was music that the fountains did choreography to. I honestly liked it much more than World of Color at Disneyland.
3. High Roller
This is the largest observation wheel in North America. You get a great view of the Strip and down the Linq Promenade and all of the hotels. Try to get tickets in advance and be aware of pickpocketers.
4. Neon Museum
The Neon Museum is super unique and very interesting, it was just really hot the day and time we went, but thankfully the gift shop had air conditioning. The signs are still in good shape and some of them turn on when it's dark out. It has the very first Hard Rock Cafe sign there too.
5. Seven Magic Mountains
The Seven Magic Mountains is about a 30 minute drive away from the Strip, but it is very pretty for taking pictures. Go very early in the morning for less people there, we arrived around 9am and there were maybe 20 people there already and then tour buses come in too. Just a note: there are no bathrooms and no water fountains, so use the bathroom before going and bring your own water.
